Logo concept for Pelesend
Company is on sale discussions now, so the new logo was used only on business cards yet. The logo needed to remind viewer about Hawaian mythology (one of cofounders is form Hawai, so he added its’ taste to the word selection) & spreading of information, cause the name of the company is set-up form two words:
Pele (the goddess of the fire, her symbol is Lehua flower – first tree, which grows on the ashes after lava eruption)
to Send (sending, spreading, sharing)
As Lehua flower has very specific shape, i decided to go on with it as it can implement both words into one icon.
Flower on its own is has quite pink, fuhcia palette, but there was a decision made to go with he lava (orange palette) to stay away from a too “womenly” impression, cause company works on technologies, which are helping people to connect with the health system, so it is quite masculine path.
