¨48 STUNDEN PROJEKT¨ – STUTTGART , GERMANY, performance class cooperating with students and teachers from Germany, Latvia , Belgium. / ages 16 -25 / / October 2019 /
Highy talented students from German circus shool – acrotab section ( Circus Circuli school ) , deejeying students and musicians from Latvia, along with the coreograph guru from Belgia and me – an artist , expert in composition, promt idea generator and with 2 decade experience of blending into many, many projects and teams containing participants from distintive countries.
All we gathered together in Stuttgart in circus tent and after doing some studying – teaching – exchange, i selected a team from students and come up with an art creation in the moment of acrobat and dj acting – so called performance.
The project was called ¨48 hour project¨ by side of German organizators – a week of exchange of cultural and artistical ( ar, music, acrobat dance ) knowledge and approaches between countries, students and experts. and 2 extra ays executing the real shows.
LATVIAN CULTURE CLASS ¨color white¨ – NEW YORK , USA, Latvian school of New York – YONKERS SCHOOL / ages 5-8 / / May 2018 /
I had an oportunity to speak and do some design work with Latvian expat children about ¨White Color Symbolism¨ to remind them how important and significant part it takes in a cultural heritage of Latvia – especially when we talj about ¨white tablecloth festive¨which takes pplace wherever Latvians are located on May 4th yearly after gaining States´ 2nd independency.
MENTOR PROGRAM WORKSHOP – RIGA, LATVIA , taking place at Organization For Open Society ¨Dots¨ / participants´ age 14-21 / / February 2018 /
Mentoring program makes sure these teenagers and youngsters has all necessary to enter life with some base behind them, children from difficult families and those with special needs – introducing creativity into their activities gives a hig percentage of positive impact of their feeling of happines and being accepted by themselves, by each other and therefore – by society. We were just doing some pins in a creative prompt way after talking about crwative lifestyle and education benefits to person and to the society, but an athmosphere turned out very secure and pleasant – it worked even as a psychological retreet, so necessary for everyone to feel accepted adn calm – the begining of feeling confident about one self.
¨ART MAKES YOU¨ educational summer camp – JURMALA , LATVIA, summer camp lecturing and workshops at SCHOOL OF ARTS / participants age 8-16 / / August 2017 /
At ART MAKES YOU camp i was honored to speak in front of many youngsters who were participating in summer camo – anxious to know which type of education to choose in the future, what benefits and lifstyle might be faced and enjoyed if choosing creative path. I was invited paricularly to share my extraordinary jorney of creative life, plans and visions and give some encouragement that everyone can be whomever he wants, actually. I gave a practical task to each participant – create a brief logo for himself, looking into his wishes, hobbies, character traits and combine visually that with acronym of name.
Decision making in such a young age is crucial and not easy at all, but can be done with professional help of educational institutions and projects such as ¨Art Makes You ¨.
