Logo was done under 2sker team – thanx them again for involving me in interesting projects, task was described simply & clear, but quite narrow: CELLO – telecommunicaiton company , which serves target audience in French speaking market. Project involvement may guide to senior audience market sector – that meant that in some way playful name (which was stated by client before my involvement) needed to look serious, calm , trusty & static, but in the same time, if color scheme could be switched to distinctive one, then the feeling of light , easy, youth could be added rapidly to the same logo sign when possibility of stepping out of senior market projects arise
The name was explained to me as playful sound from word: Hello – which of course fits to telecommunicaiton field. Nothing deepr under this saga this time, but there is some logic – if keep in mind associative reflecting effect on seniors – easier to memorize, int he same time brand can wear unique name.
So i decided to come-up with stylization of speach bubbles, to represent conversations, messaging & connectivity.. of course as stated above – not in a too playful or youthful way (as that feeling could be added just by color schemeswitch). Triangle & curve shapes serves for dynamic & floating effect – communication, which actually is in some way intangible somewhere in the invisible waves.
Speach bubbles are stylized in many ways & used so often, thats why this was interesting to find CELLOs’ charater for them 🙂
